Perhaps the most significant thing about Belmont Rose granite is the quality. What nature gives us is among the most unique granite in the world, and within the top 3% in terms of quality. But, that would not mean much if we didn’t take care getting it out of the ground. When we quarry, we almost never use blasting, which can cause micro-cracks and splits that can reduce the effectiveness of the granite as a building material or a water feature. Instead we use cutting and wedging to get the slabs our customers need. The result is a finished product that is as strong as it is beautiful.
